Algernod Lanier Washington better known by his stage name Plies, is an American rapper.
Plies has released his second album, Definition of Real, on June 10, 2008, 10 months after releasing his first album. The first official single was "Bust It Baby Pt. 2", featuring Ne-Yo. It topped the hip hop charts, also beating his other single, "Shawty", as the best single up to date for Plies. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200, selling 214,902 copies its first week. The second single is "Please Excuse My Hands", featuring Jamie Foxx & The-Dream. Plies stated that his third single will be "#1 Fan", featuring Keyshia Cole & J. Holiday.
