The United Streets Dopeboyz of America, also known as U.S.D.A., is a hip hop trio from Atlanta, Georgia. The group's founder, Atlanta-based rapper Young Jeezy, officially brought the group mainstream after his departure from Boyz N Da Hood. The group consists of three rappers: Young Jeezy, Slick Pulla, and Blood Raw.
Young Jeezy Presents USDA: Cold Summer (The Authorized Mixtape) is the debut mix tape from the hip hop trio, USDA. It was officially released on May 22, 2007, although it was leaked as of May 17th. The album was released by Young Jeezy's own Corporate Thugz Entertainment and will be distributed through Def Jam.
The lead single is "White Girl", produced by Drumma Boy. The second lead single is "Corporate Thuggin'".
In a recent interview with MTV, Young Jeezy explained why he chose not to release a regular studio album to showcase his crew.
"It's crazy," Jeezy said in a statement. "I wanted to do it mix tape-style 'cause I wanted it to be something for the streets. It's like Trap or Die on steroids. I love that. It's a street album, just raw."
As of March 11th, 2008, the album has sold 500,102 copies in the US.
